Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse by Rick Riordan
I'm really not in the mood for a long review because
A. I have discussed the last two books in my previous reviews (Lightning Thief & Sea of Monsters).
B. I am currently drowning in all the things I can't do during school and force myself to attend to during the holidays.
C. I'm lazy.
D. I'm preparing for the Banned Books Feature I will have this September-October, which is a lot more fun.
This is the third book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series (5 books total), and I liked it a lot more than the other two for the following reasons:
1. New characters that I LOVED.
2. A killer plot that didn't feel like a haphazard sequence of detached events.
3. Awesome monsters.
4. Heartbreaking events. (I refuse to believe that EVENT is not going to have more attached to it.)
5. I saw OUTCOME OF EARLY INTRODUCED MYSTERY coming, but I love how it influences the story.
6. We got to meet a lot more gods, including two of my favorite Greek characters, namely Artemis and Apollo. (Reason: Favorite Youtube Video Ever)
7. Me getting used to the general flow of this series. I am finally getting the hang of it.
8. Percy and his Percabeth shipping issues.
9. The villains and their improvements. Also, the battle at the end was sweet.
10. Characters become complexer and develop more.
Rating:
5 stars.
