Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Book Review

This book is amazing. Yes, it's the size of a baby elephant, but still. It doesn't feel long. Despite my urges to strangle some characters and my weeping over the misery of others, I loved it. Every single page of it.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Book Review

You know when you read the first couple of chapters of a book in a series you love, and you realize that from this point on, sh!t gets real and people are going to drop dead? That is this book. The Dark Mark is in the sky and we start with an old dead man and a giant snake? Yep, we're dead.

Side note: I didn't actually read the French version of this book. (I wish my French was good enough for that.) This is a tribute to the victims of the terrorist attack in Paris last Friday. My condolences go to all the family members, friends, and neighbors of the deceased.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Movie Review

Oh, movies from THIS decennium, how I start to miss your improved cameras. But child actors and special effects aside, this is still a very good (and long) movie.

Title: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Genre: Adventure, Family, Fantasy
Director: Chris Columbus
Based on: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
IMDb rating: 7,4/10
Rotten tomatoes rating: 82%
My rating: Yay, the end battle was longer! The basilisk was ugly though.

November

It is time. The magical month of November has arrived and I'm already dying to dig into it. Because November, for me, means multiple slices of awesomeness. Some I'm just excited for for the sake of excitement because I won't be getting to them until forever.
