Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Movie Review

I did my waiting.
Twelve years of it.
In Azkaban.

Title: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Genre: Adventure, Family, Fantasy
Director: Alfonso CuarĂ³n
Based on: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
IMDb rating: 7,8/10
Rotten tomatoes rating: 91%

My rating: Turn to page 394 (I'm quoting, so yes, I approve)

This review's going to be a short one, since I've still got a bit of stuff for school to do. I really liked the acting and scenery. The grounds of Hogwarts just look really beautiful. I did notice that the way they told the story changed a bit because of the different amount of pages of book they had to film, but overall it looked good and the story was nice and clear.

Spoilers!

Some things that stood out to me:
- The scene in the Shrieking Shack. Sirius looked a lot more crazed and savage than I remember from the book. I mean, in the book you know he looks like a mess, but to actually have him screaming and wild on your screen is something entirely different. I had not pictured him this much of a mess. It did make me feel even sorrier for him, though.
- It might be a bit nitpicky, but I dislike how much of the time they spend in normal clothes instead of wizarding ropes. I get that young actors look better in T-shirts and jeans than cloaks, but some wizards don't even know how to wear Muggle clothes properly. How is that logical if they've been wearing them at school all the time?
- Harry's flight on Buckbeak looks very cool, and it makes you realize more how big the castle is.
- Lupin looks a mess almost as much as Sirius. Speaking of messes and Lupin:
Literally the first thing that entered my mind when Lupin transformed was that this was how the Hunger Games wolf-tributes should have looked. I can't help myself. But let's be Sirius here, this looks way scarier than the digital dogs in the first HG movie.
- After seeing Wormtail some to life, I can't believe he only died in the LAST BOOK?! He just plainly annoyed me with his begging, and it made me respect Harry more to watch him spare his life.
- I wish we could've kept the old Dumbledore. No offense to new Dumbledore, I just liked the old one's voice and long beard better.
- This movie's dialogue stayed true to the book, which I appreciate. It also made for some wonderful quotes.

(First review without ANY spelling mistakes! Short review, but still.)
