Reading
While I started this blog, I was rereading the Hunger Games series and the Divergent series. Not just because I wanted to re-experience the beauty of these stories, but also to write down all the words I wouldn't necessarily use myself. I really want to write in English and a bigger vocabulary could come in handy. So I grabbed a LOT of paper, and read through some of my favorite heroine's stories with a binder next to me.
My goal was to start at the Hunger Games at the first of July and finish Allegiant at the 25th of July, thus reading an average of 108.92 pages a day (slow reader over here). I would have made it if my parents hadn't planned to go to Germany in the morning of the 25th. Many of my reading practices are secret, because I feel awkward about them. I also had to share a room with my brother, so midnight reading was out of the question. That's why I finished Allegiant yesterday night at two o'clock, and I am now in mourning and suffering a major book-hangover.
Germany
I had a nice holiday, but it's a bit too personal and quite boring for you guys, so I'll keep it short.
1. We've been to Berlin.
2. I've seen a demonstration where people asked to boycott Israel, and consider blogging about it.
3. The Holocaust memorials almost made me burst into tears.
4. I've seen the Wall.
5. I've read the Ruby Red Trilogy and will put a review up soon. The review will also be on Goodreads.
6. I got a lot of inspiration for my own story from the city and the day we went to Potsdam to look at the palaces from Ferdinand Something.
7. We had Wi-Fi! XD
8. I couldn't access a computer. ):
Movie
I've watched Insurgent sometime before I went on vacation and my review of the movie will be up soon.
